Today I was playing a lowbie villain VEAT for a prolongued bout of missioning. I was on a roll, and too low for a travel power, so I was really pushing the trips to vendors to sell. It's not like I had anything worth much. Soooo all of my inventories were slowly turning red. Enhancements, who cares. Salvage, whatever, I was doing mostly Tech. The Recipes weren't filling up, though, for the longest time.
Last mission of the night, I'm in the middle of the boss battle and my Recipes finally fill up. Brilliantly, I decide that this was, indeed, a problem. So I delete stuff right then, in the middle of the fight, and almost die. Oops. But! The second I close the Recipe window I got dropped a Karma Knockback Protection. Woohoo!
Karma. Har har.

I'm a 40 DD and I'm not rolling in the dough.
---also, what's the deal with sex shops here? which places are best?
I'm specifically looking for somewhere with a good collection of dildos of the strap-onnable variety.
thanks.

i have been looking at craigslist and ebay for a sewing machine. i am looking for something easy to use for a beginner. i have been looking on those sites because i was trying to find something for 65 of less which means most likely used.
tips on good places to look besides those sites? machines you recommend or ones i should avoid? have one you want to get rid of that works well?
EDIT: lokidecat came to the rescue. i can always count on him. also he is strangely domestic.

Any suggestions for a FANTASTIC cheese steak in Portland? Bonus points if it is in NW, or downtown.
I have this craving I can't seem to shake!

I lawled.
It reminds me of the first time my grandma spent two months of social security on a large paper weight with a monitor.
If you're responsible, please come forward.

So, I've been doing some thinking. Since I graduated high school 7 years ago, I've been bouncing around community colleges (mainly) trying to figure out what I want to do. I'm about 99% sure I've decided on what I want to do, but that 1% still gets me. Back when I first graduated, I had considered going to cosmetology school to learn how to cut/style hair... it's always been something I enjoy, though I lack experience... and thought it might be a nice way to work my way through college. I put that idea by the wayside for whatever reason but now am revisiting it. I'd like to get settled into a job that I know I really LIKE doing, that'll be able to help support me for the next few years while working on my degree.
So, are there any people out there who have done this? Or how about any people who have made a career cutting/styling hair? I've heard especially to start you don't make the most money, but is it really that bad? Also... when you search "beauty school" or "cosmetology school" in the PDX area, you get a pretty large list... any suggestions about where to possible look into?
Ultimately, worth it? Not worth it? Any opinions would be awesome.
Edit: So, I grasp the point that it's probably stupid to get into it. Thanks to all for the advice.

Now that's public backed transportation I can get behind!

One of the best things about playing a brute with a /sonic Corr on the team is the opportunity to wear "The Tutu of Doom", also known as Disruption Field. A lot of times my current Pentacle-ing Brute is teamed up with
beamishboy's toon Whispering Witch who's a Sonic/Sonic Corr. Those who hang out on vent on Pentacle days are very familiar with my giddy and gleeful comments regarding wearing this debuff - "Yay! I'm a pretty, pretty princess!". So in regards to that, Liz gave me this:
( Igni Ferroque is a Pretty, Pretty Princess )
